.. function:: int nghttp3_check_header_name(const uint8_t *name, size_t len)

    
    `nghttp3_check_header_name` returns nonzero if HTTP field name
    *name* of length *len* is valid according to
    :rfc:`7230#section-3.2`.
    
    Because this is an HTTP field name in HTTP/3, the upper cased
    alphabet is treated as error.
